VIS Ben Hur (VIS stands for vocal-instrumental band) has been a part of the Croatian Christian music scene for ten years. They combine ethnic music with Christian music.

There are seven members of the band: Ivan Heller (songwriter, vocal, guitar), Vladimir Pilepić (vocal, contrabass), Damijan Srdoč (vocal, mandolin), Daniel Srdoč (vocal, accordion), Hrvoje Buger (vocal, drums), Robert Androić (vocal, mandolin, guitar) and Milan Kragić (guitar, vocal).

They started to play music in their parish churches in the archdiocese of Rijeka, and through that activity they have realised  that together they could make Christian music with specific instruments. That was the moment when they started to combine ethnic music with Christian.

The sounds of mandolin, accordion, contrabass and guitar produced their very first song Grešan sam čovjek Gospodine/I am a sinner, my Lord which was performed at Uskrs fest in 2005.

They perform at occasions such as Christmas, Easter and other holidays in the achdiocese of Rijeka as well as at the Christian music festivals: Uskrs fest, Papa fest, Tonkafest and Mihovil fest.

Their first album Isuse dođi/Jesus come released by Croatia Records and the Croatian Catholic radio won Porin (Croatian music award) in 2011 for the best album of spiritual music.
